Anna Zurkirchen (1991) is a Swiss dancer, maker, and Ilan Lev Method practitioner based in Brussels. Since completing her Bachelor of Dance in the Netherlands (2017) at Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts, she has been working with various national and international choreographers, such as Katja Heitmann and Tanztheater Rigolo. She is creating her own work both independently and within SKYPUNCH COLLECTIVE and Kollektiv Schaflos. Her artistic practise revolves around themes of intimacy and the human experience, using the body as a vessel for both the surreal and the real. Her interdisciplinary work often transcends traditional theatre spaces. Anna is a certified Ilan Lev Method practitioner and movement teacher. Her therapeutic, performative and choreographic practices inform each another, shaping a personal approach to touch, care, and embodied knowledge.
